Founded in Washington state nearly four decades ago, our success is built on a simple yet powerful principle: incredible results come from empowering individuals through purposeful work. From crafting jump ropes in our beginnings, to serving government and industry, we have evolved while staying true to our purpose. Our original name, Skookum, meaning “strong and well-made,” represented our foundation. Our 16-person Vocational Specialists team has expertise in working with individuals with disabilities. They work with each employee to identify accommodations and supports this often includes assistive and/or adaptive technologies. Here’s how we support people with disabilities.
