We are excited to announce the addition of two distinguished leaders to Tessera’s Board of Directors: Sten Sjoberg and Dan McCoy. With decades of experience across manufacturing, global business development, real estate, and facility management, both Sten and Dan bring invaluable expertise to support Tessera’s continued growth and purpose-driven mission.
Sten Sjoberg: Manufacturing Leader with a Global Perspective
Sten Sjoberg brings over 30 years of international executive experience, with a career dedicated to advancing manufacturing operations, leading global expansion efforts, and driving business growth through mergers, acquisitions, and strategic diversification.
He currently serves as the President of Demmer Investment Inc., based in Lansing, Michigan, where he has overseen major investment initiatives and operational transformations. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Demmer Corporation, including CFO and COO. Sten also served as President & CEO of SSAB HardTech Inc., where he led the launch of North America’s first Press Hardening operation for the automotive industry—a significant innovation in vehicle manufacturing.
Fluent in both German and Swedish, Sten brings a global lens to the Board. He holds a Civilekonom degree (civil economist) in Accounting from the University of Lund in Sweden and a Civil Engineering diploma from Pauli School Technical Gymnasium, blending a strong financial and technical foundation with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Dan McCoy: Real Estate and Facility Management Expert
Daniel “Dan” McCoy joins the Board with more than two decades of experience in commercial real estate, specializing in development, operations, and facilities strategy. He is the founder and managing partner of a real estate development firm focused on self-storage and student housing projects across the country.
Prior to launching his own firm, Dan served as a Senior Managing Director at CBRE, a global leader in real estate services. During his tenure, he led teams responsible for facility management and operations across large-scale healthcare systems and hospital networks—helping organizations align their physical spaces with the needs of patients, staff, and communities.
Dan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, giving him a strong foundation in global strategy, leadership, and diplomacy.
“It’s marrying the Facility Management world with a purpose to create meaningful opportunities for veterans and people with disabilities,” Dan said. “It’s hard to find that kind of combination—and I’m excited to be part of it.”
