Catherine Johnson

Director of Government Affairs

Catherine leads Tessera’s advocacy on all disability-related issues, forming critical partnerships from local communities to the halls of Congress. Her work promotes education and collaboration, directly shaping national policy to expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities and disabled veterans.

This passion for translating complex challenges into strategic responses was forged during her tenure as an Air Force intelligence officer. After being medically retired from the military, Catherine’s own journey fuels her commitment to Tessera’s mission, where she champions the principles of service and self-empowerment to help all individuals achieve their own brand of excellence.
